McKenzie Fishing Opportunities
Fishing From A Koffler Drift Boat
Drift Boats are the Fishing Machines of Oregon Rivers. They are safe, comfortable and can slip into areas where traditional boats would high center. We fish from a Koffler Draft Boat that is considered the Premier manufacture of Drift Boats in the Northwest. Every detail has been designed with catching fish in mind.
Oregon Stealhead
Pound for pound, Steelhead are the hardest fighting fish you will find in Oregon Rivers. These fish range from 6 – 20 pounds and have a tendency to strip line and make your reel sing. Steelhead can be found throughout Oregon year round but the most popular seasons are Winter and Summer.
Oregon Salmon Fishing
Salmon are in NW rivers in both the Spring and Fall of each year. These fish are big and we regularly catch fish in the 20 pound range. Salmon is also one of the most delicious fish you could ever put on your table. In Oregon we catch both Chinook and Coho salmon in our rivers.

Hi Jim, Brandon and I had a great time, this was Brandon’s first guided trip ever and he had a great time, even though he’s only my stepson he’s a lot like me. It’s no how big or how many fish you caught. But how much fun with good people on the trip. I hope I inspire that in him. After all isn’t that is what fishing is supposed be? We couldn’t have picked a better guide and we will fish with you again. I guess that’s the best compliment I can give you. Thanks Bob and Brandon P.S. My fish is in the brine ready to smoke tomorrow Brandon is cooking his up for himself and his Dad.
